Microwave Rubber Vulcanization Equipment Promotes Rapid Modernization of Rubber Industry

Microwave vulcanization equipment outlines that rubber products must be vulcanized before they have elasticity and abrasion resistance. Vulcanization process refers to the chemical reaction between raw rubber and vulcanizing agent in rubber compound under certain conditions, which changes the macromolecule crosslinking of linear structure into the macromolecule crosslinking of network structure, resulting in the obvious improvement of the mechanical properties of rubber compound. In the vulcanization process, the formation of network crosslinking can only be carried out under heating conditions. In conventional heating vulcanization process, heat is transferred from the surface to the inside depending on the thermal conductivity of rubber. Because the thermal conductivity of rubber is very poor, it takes a long time to make the product reach the vulcanization temperature as a whole, and it is easy to form a temperature gradient which results in uneven vulcanization. By microwave vulcanization, the compound can absorb microwave energy directly and heat both inside and outside at the same time. The time for the product to reach the vulcanization temperature is very short (about one-tenth to one-hundredth of the conventional curing temperature), and there is no temperature gradient in the surface, so the vulcanization is rapid and uniform. The microwave rubber vulcanization equipment is suitable for continuous vulcanization of strip rubber products and rubber products with metal skeleton under various cross-section conditions, and has become the symbol of modern production of domestic rubber industry.
